Server Safety

The results of my tests surprised me. My uploading and downloading were slightly better when I was using Avast SecureLine VPN. However, my ping improved once I transferred over to Surfshark’s server in the same location. 

Needless to say, the speed difference between the two is insignificant. As a result, I’m declaring a draw in this round of our Avast Secureline VPN versus Surfshark duel.

Torrenting & P2P

Only Surfshark was successful in masking my IP address from the testing program. My anonymity was not preserved by its rival. In fact, it disclosed my IP address to the testing program more than once, rendering it unfit for torrenting.

Streaming
